DataTrue now sets up, runs and maintains your tag and privacy testing for you, on every plan, at the same published prices. Our team of experts builds the tests, keeps them working and sends you reports that tell you what's wrong, where the problem is and how we think you can fix it. The full DataTrue platform stays yours whenever you want to use it, whether you log in yourself, connect through our API or use our MCP server.
Why we made this change
Nobody we talk to questions the value of tag and privacy testing. The hard part is always setting it up and getting value from it. Everyone is busy these days, and teams don't have time to learn another platform, work out how best to configure tests, pull reports or research the legal implications of every tag they fire. So just having the tool turns into one more job on someone's list. And for an enterprise with tens, hundreds or even thousands of websites, it can turn into an entire person's job.
We heard the same story on call after call. A team buys a testing tool for good reasons. Someone sets up the first tests, then gets pulled onto other work. The site changes, the tests fall out of date, the reports stop getting read, and the problems the tool was bought to catch go unnoticed.
The knowledge it takes to set testing up well is specialized too. Knowing which consent states to test, in which regions, which tags should fire on which pages, and what Global Privacy Control (GPC) means for your site is important. Teams that aren't experts miss things, even with AI help, because they don't know what to ask for.
So we made setup our job. You shouldn't have to learn a platform to get answers from it. Our experts set it up, run it and keep it working, and your team gets clear information about work they already do.
What this looks like in practice
In one case, an enterprise account sat almost unused after the one employee who had been maintaining the account left the company. In a day and a half, our team fixed the account, added a wide range of new tests across four sites in two regions and built the new custom reporting for the client. Within 36 hours the new owner had a report showing privacy violations and tag problems they hadn't been aware of, each with a recommended fix. Nobody on their side had to learn the tool or spend time getting value from it.

"I'm amazed. This is the world we live in now."
Victor F., current enterprise client
That account isn't unusual. On real client sites, we have found:
- Tags firing after a visitor opted out
- Personal data leaking, plain and hashed, before consent and before a form was submitted
- Wrong tag IDs and wrong Google Analytics 4 (GA4) property IDs
- Double tracking of pageviews
- Tags firing on pages where they shouldn't be at all
- Tags nobody knew about, hard-coded outside the tag manager
- Events that stopped firing after a site update
Clients have used these findings to fix their pre-consent policies, remove tags and repair broken tracking. DataTrue helps you stay compliant by showing where you aren't, and how to fix it. Our reports aren't legal advice, so your own counsel makes the final call.
How it works
- Tell us what matters. We start with a short kickoff and discovery call. We learn your sites, regions, consent setup and what we (and you) need to know.
- We build it. Our team writes a solution design, you sign off on it, and then we set up every test. Most single-domain setups are running within a day.
- You get the answers. Regular reports, reviewed by one of our experts, with a recommended fix for every finding.
- We keep it working. When your site changes (as sites always do), we update the tests. When something breaks, we fix it or tell you what to change.

Our base consent and privacy tests go in first, so a first report on your site's current state often arrives within a day. You never have to log in to DataTrue. Reports come to you as a hosted page, a PDF, an email or however you prefer.
Our team works with AI and automation to set up tests, scan sites and build reports fast. A person writes your solution design and reviews every setup and every report before it goes out. The knowledge comes from our experts and 15 years of testing experience. AI does the manual labor.
What we set up for you, and what you can still do
We set up and run the same testing DataTrue has always offered, so your team gets the findings without doing the setup.
- Full-site scans: which tags are on the pages of your site, what they send and where they send it
- Consent checks in every region you care about, including GPC, run in real browsers from within each region
- Customer journeys like checkout and signup, tested step by step in each consent state to make sure your most important tracking works
- Personal data alerts when tags send personal data to unknown or unapproved domains, including rogue pixels
- Pre-publish testing of draft Google Tag Manager and Adobe Tags containers, on top of live testing

If your team likes to work hands-on, nothing changes for you. Build your own tests and journeys in the platform, run one-off checks, pull reporting through our API on Team and above, or use our MCP server on Enterprise. You're just not required to anymore.
